Christy's song Say The Word used in teen contest
A large crowd — many sitting on lawn chairs and even more standing and enjoying vendor food — gathered at the corner of Capitol and Elizabeth streets to watch a variety of musical acts take the stage Friday evening.
Leah Potts took the stage in the junior division and performed Christy Carlson Romano’s “Say the Word” from Disney’s “Kim Possible.” Potts said it took a while to find the right song to perform.
She said that she felt good about her performance, but wasn’t rewarded with a cash prize as a top-four finisher.
Potts had several family members and friends on hand to cheer her on.
“She did great,” said Leah’s mother, Jill Potts. “Mommy was really proud.”

Have you been checking out Christy's online things lately? Like her myspace and forum, I'm not too sure why, but they seem to be not available and/or removed. I hope nothing bad is happening.

Miss Romano updates!
I was just looking at Christy's IMDB and wikipedia where she has a new credit to her acting experience - a guest starring role in the TNT tv series Hawthorne, featuring Jada Pinkett Smith, which started in June, a pretty new show. 
That episode, "Night Moves", premiered in July.

Ambassadors of Hollywood support tour in Southwest Asia
News updates on Christy! I would have never expected Christy Romano to join others in sharing their support for the US Armed Forces. 
Five television and film stars officially started their Ambassadors of Hollywood support tour in Southwest Asia at Camp As Sayliyah, Qatar, April 17. Maeve Quinlan, Paul Johansson, Don McManus, Christy Carlson Romano and Gabrielle Tuite traveled across the world to show their support for the U.S. Armed Forces in Southwest Asia. After departing Qatar, the celebrities will visit service members in Afghanistan.
"I recently watched Christy in a behind-the-scenes documentary about the show 'Kim Possible,'" said Spc. Rebecca Cofield, from Phoenix, Ariz. Romano voiced the lead character in the Disney Channel television series. In 2005, her voice performance was nominated for an Emmy.

Gallery updates - Broadway Musical Equus
Finally I've put on some gallery updates here! This set of appearance is pretty recent, from 2008. Christy was at the opening night of Broadway Musical Equus, which starrs Harry Potter Star Daniel Radcliffe. She was smiling brilliantly, and took lots of pictures with Haley Joel Osment. He's an actor who involves himself with theatre work a lot as well. Enjoy the pictures!

Want to be coached by Christy in acting?
I forgot to approve this news, so I'm sorry this came a little late.
Christy has been very active in acting, even if you don't see her so much. She has partnered Nick Spano, her previous costar from Even Stevens, to set up an acting school. They would be teaching teenagers from 12-18 years old, in this newly set up acting school. This school would be called Actors Live, based in Los Angeles. Many aspects of acting would be covered in their various workshops, and the prices are pretty reasonable! Also, classes would begin in March 2009. If you would like more information, you can visit their site here.
