Biography


Christy Romano has been very active in acting, singing and writing, proved to everyone that she is worthy of her title - True Triple Threat. She even starred in two Emmy nominated shows, all by the age of 21!


Early Age

20th March 1984 - this very special day, in the state of Connecticut, a baby girl was born into this world. At the age of six, she started showing flair for acting, singing, dancing. And even sports. This star was - Christy Carlson Romano!


Teenage Years

Christy kept engaging herself in commercials and TV, and almost every kid in America knew about her. Constantly striving to improve, she has shown everyone her best efforts and her willingness to try out different stuff. This stunning teen picked up the role of Disney Channel animated series Kim Possible, receiving the 2005 Emmy Nominations of Best Performance in an Animated Series.

Furthermore, Romano has recorded songs in the soundtracks of some Disney movies and TV series like Kim Possible and Teacher's Pet.


Present Christy and Her Life

In November 2005, Romano launched a music account on Myspace. She has used her account to post many new songs to share with fans, and showcase her own artistic evolution. It is unclear which, if any, of the songs will be on her upcoming album. In November 2006, Romano changed her Record Label status on her official MySpace page from Major to Indie. The reason for this and her new record label were not stated.

Christy contributed to the soundtracks to Takin' 5 and The Cutting Edge 3. She also wrote a book entitled Grace's Turn, which received mostly positive reviews. According to her blog on her official website, Grace's Turn is the recipient of the New York Public Library's Book for the Teenage 2007.

In the recent years, Christy Romano has been very active in theatre work, including Avenue Q and White's Lies. While handling theatre work, Christy never stopped filming, finishing The Cutting Edge 3 in 2008 and Wolvesbayne in 2009.
